Welcome to Tiptree Dental Surgery
The practice was founded in 1966, and was joined by Clive Bainbridge (CB) in 1974, Kate Ranson (Kate) came in 2001 and the team was completed by Alex Champelovier (Alex) in 2003.
The move to our present address was accomplished in 1982, with a new purpose built extension added in 1999 to cope with increasing patient numbers. In early 2008 a further extension was provided in order to facilitate a dedicated disinfection and sterilisation room to cope with present and future rationale. This also gives full disabled access to our downstairs surgery, along with an equipped toilet facility.
All three surgeries are fully equipped and furnished with the most modern and up-to-date equipment.
In order to manage with the amount of data needed the entire practice is computerised, and is in daily contact with the NHS Business Service Authority so that any questions as regards treatment proposal are dealt with expeditiously
We are also fortunate to have a fully digitalised whole mouth X-ray machine to give virtually instant diagnosis of possible problems.
As well as the three dentists, we have the services of our two hygienists to complement the practice, Rebecca (Becky) and Alison.
The practice is managed by Bev, and our secretarial work is done by Jan (1), all our dental nurses - Jan (2), Lyn, Hayley, Kirstie, Eve and Leanne make up the team, either in surgery or on reception. We have recently been joined by Ellie on an apprenticeship scheme.
All our staff are fully registered with the appropriate bodies.

Emergency Treatment:
At present all out of hours emergencies are dealt with by phoning the practice answerphone for an advice line, however please be aware this may be advice only.

The BDA Good Practice Scheme is a quality assurance programme for UK dental practices. Members of the Scheme demonstrate a visible commitment to providing quality dental care to nationally recognised best practice standards.
Private Care
There are private alternatives to the other forms of treatment available, some require increased laboratory time using a master technician, or using superior quality materials. Your requirements in any of the test procedures are personal and, due to the complexity of the fees structure, an indication of what can be achieved and the cost involved can only be give after consultation.
